We guarantee that the Koi will arrive alive, but any claims must be made within 5 hours of arrival by telephone or e-mail. It is important to note that we ship the Koi overnight by Federal Express, and seldom lose any, even after several days; all will arrive alive. Because of the nature of Koi to jump out of a new pond or tank during the first couple of days, it is the customers' responsibility to make sure that there are adequate precautions in place. We cannot be responsible for the customers' allowing the Koi to jump out, which is why we require immediate notice. We will replace any Koi that do not arrive alive, or refund their cost, at our option. We cannot be responsible for customers' pond water quality such as toxic chemical levels, inadequate oxygen, pH extremes, chlorine presence, water hardness, temperature shock, parasites, bacteria, viruses, etc. For these reasons all sales are final, and no returns are possible. Any claims must be accompanied by photographs of the dead Koi with their tails removed, which is an industry standard procedure.
