Comparing the up front costs of purchasing a Little Giant pump versus an Oase pump. Just because the Oase pump costs about $475 more than the Little Giant pump does not necessarily mean it's not the correct choice. This table is based on a $.13 cost per kilowatt-hour, and assumes since the Little Giant pump is only warranted for 1 year versus 3 years for the Oase pump, that you will have to buy 3 times as many Little Giant pumps as Oase pumps. Admittedly, this is subjective so you can assume anything you believe is reasonable. Note that even if the Little Giant pump lasted for the entire 3 year period you still save over $1,000 with the Oase pump.
